Amanda Abrams – owner, head trainer, group fitness instructor
Amanda is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in personal training. She graduated with honors in Physical Education from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science and a minor in Psychology. She is also certified in both CPR and AED. Amanda played on the Ohio Wesleyan’s Women’s Basketball team and helped to develop and administer the fitness program for the faculty and staff at the University. She also played a part in designing the summer strength and conditioning program for the basketball team. Amanda enjoys teaching a variety of group classes including POUND, Spinning, RIPPED, Tabata, and Boot Camp. Her goal as the owner of Fit4U is to create a fun, effective, and upbeat workout for everyone.
Heather Mueller – personal trainer and group fitness instructor
Heather has always had a passion for fitness, so in 2016 she decided to become certified in group fitness instruction through the American Council on Exercise and CPR. In addition, Heather obtained her Zumba license as well as a license to teach Strong by Zumba, a high intensity interval format. As a former gymnast, she always had an enthusiasm for exercise science, body mechanics and resistance training to become stronger and enhance performance. In 2017 Heather decided to further her knowledge and obtained a personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise. It was important to Heather to study through a program that is nationally accredited so she knew that she was receiving a top notch education! In addition to her fitness certifications, Heather also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. Heather’s goal is to provide her clients and class participants with a positive and productive experience that will lead them to success with their health & fitness goals!
Nicole Holmes – group fitness instructor
Abby Mallers – yoga instructor
Abby, 200 hour RYT, was introduced to yoga in 1999 by a close family friend and instantly fell in love. She loves most the way yoga promotes wellness on all levels; physical, emotional, and spiritual. Early in her studies she found the yoga of BKS Iyengar and completed a two teacher training program under Jyoti Hansa. In 2014 she obtained her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certificate from Passion Yoga School based in Ashtanga Vinyasa. Her love for yoga led her to India for an immersive practice and service experience. Abby approaches her mat in the spirit of play, and her experience allows her to make yoga fun and accessible to everyone.
